1. The group founded its business in 1986 as the importer & distributor of various types of industrial spare part components, supplying the manufacturer through out the Indonesia archipelago as well as distributing coated abrasive products.

In view that the coated abrasive market increased significantly in the early 1990's, and the market growth was potentially promising in Indonesia as well as in Far East / North East Asia, The group decided to establish PT. Bahtera Indoamplas Gemilang in 1995 as a 100% privately owned Domestic Investment of a coated abrasive manufacturer.

3. Its product being applied to the finishing stages of the manufacturing of wooden products, panels, metal, automotive / body parts, etc.

4. We acquired our machinery from a well known German Manufacturer, Peter Schwabe, as we believe manufacturing using European Technology ensures the reliability of our products and standard of quality to meet market expectations.

5. Part of our corporate strategy is to provide prompt constant customer care service to assist our customers with their application of all sanding aspects they might experience.

6. We have a very efficient & knowledgeable team in our Research & Development Dept, in our Manufacturing Dept and in both our Marketing & Management Dept, to strive continuously in improving the quality of our products throught out the modernization of machinery & to concentrate on optimizing our existing products & future products.
